5 generations and 195 years of history

Welcome to our family,
Welcome to La Collina

For five generations, and with over 195 years of history, we have been preserving Bergamo’s wine-making culture. We do so in an area rich in historical roots: Valcalepio. More precisely, we are located in Grumello del Monte, known as the “City of Wine.”

Three great men preceded us in creating a family story of dedication. Today it is our turn: we are Luigi and Sara, the fourth and fifth generations, and we have chosen to continue this journey by carrying on the reverence for true rural life.

For us, this means living agriculture in a totalizing way, respecting the land, feeling it as part of us, and transforming the fruits with our own hands into bottles that tell our idea of wine.

Please, come into our family!

We are located in Grumello del Monte, the City of Wine, in the heart of the Valcalepio

Grumello del Monte is a small village nestled in Valcalepio, a little-known wine-growing area rich in history. Here, wine has always been part of everyday life.

Valcalepio, on the other hand, is the “land between two lakes,” Lake Iseo and Lake Lecco: a place that still preserves the genuine soul of a territory waiting to be discovered.

We see ourselves as promoters of comprehensive agriculture.

For us, agriculture is not just a passion, but a true lifestyle that sets the pace for our family. The vineyard and the winery are part of us, our days, our time.

With a vision of total involvement, the wines we create are the profound result of our personality, our ideas, and our hands.

This is why we call ourselves “Artisans of Wine”: because each label carries with it a carefully thought-out project, family labor, and an all-encompassing love for our craft.

The wine

Perhaps you have never thought of Valcalepio as a land with a great wine-growing tradition.

Yet, did you know that some of the oldest DOC wines originate here?

That we produce red wines with great aging potential?
And even sparkling wines, including sweet ones, aged for up to 36 months?

Unique soils and a long winemaking tradition make our wines and those of Valcalepio a surprise for all enthusiasts.

Come and meet us at the winery

We will guide you through vineyards and tastings, introducing you to the flavors that come from the land and the stories of a family of true winemakers.

Our winery is open to everyone! Whether you want to buy a bottle, taste our wines, or visit the winery, we look forward to seeing you!
